Toby Myers
Christopher T. "Toby" Myers, 56, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:37 a.m. on September 19, 2022 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on May 15, 1966 in Lima, to Harold L. and Helen M. (Walker) Myers, who have preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sue Myers, of Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include his four children, Chris (Amianne) Franklin, of TX, Aaron (Vanessa Chorvas) Myers, of St. Marys, Brittany Myers, of Ft. Recovery, and Dylan Myers, of Findlay; eight grandchildren, Dylan Franklin, Aaliya Larsen, Azaia Murphy, Zach Myers, Savion Murphy, Isabella Myers, Ian Myers, James Lee Myers; and five siblings, David Myers, of LA, Gerald Myers, of Lafayette, Lucinda Morris, of Arlington, Linda Martin, of Ft. Recovery, and Matthew (Delores) Myers, of Elida.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Phillip Myers, Eric Walker, Doris Lewindowski, and Louann Myers.
Toby was a simple man, who was content with the small moments of everyday life. Although he went through many health struggles, he always had a joke, ready to make anyone laugh. When able, Toby enjoyed tinkering with things, taking them apart to figure out how they worked, and fishing. He coached baseball, loving the sport so much, that his CB Handle was "Mr. Baseball". In addition to watching the news, Toby could be found cheering on Rusty Wallace during racing season. Family, however, was the most important facet of his life. He was proud of his brother and sons serving in the US Marine Corps, he supported his grandchildren in all of their extra-curricular activities, and was happy just spending time together.
In keeping with his wishes, Toby will be cremated.
