Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

CELINA - A Celina teen this weekend will compete in Chicago to prove her pizza-making prowess can't be topped.
Zoe Cox, 17, a kitchen manager at Pizza Hut, has set herself apart from her peers as one of the fastest pizza makers in the region.
After winning at the restaurant, area and franchise level, Cox will face off against other Midwestern Pizza Hut employees at the Pizza Championship. Should she win, Cox will move on to the grand championship in Plano, Texas. [More]

  MARIA STEIN - For nearly a quarter, New Bremen traded blows with Marion Local, but back-to-back Flyers breaks quickly shut the door.
Kyle Otte scored a 22-yard touchdown to put Marion on the board late in the first and a Landon Arling interception set up Darren Meier from a yard out just 12 seconds later, and the Cardinals never recovered on the way to a 38-16 Marion victory in a crucial Midwest Athletic Conference football game at Booster Stadium on Friday. Celina scored all its points in the second quarter and nearly posted a shutout as the Mercer County Bulldogs won their third straight game with a 17-3 decision over Elida on Friday at Kraft Stadium in Allen County.
ANNA - For a little over half the game, the Anna offense looked unstoppable, taking a 21-10 lead early in the third quarter. But the Minster defense suddenly sprang to life and the Wildcats scored the final 29 points of the contest in taking a 39-21 Midwest Athletic Conference win.
