* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Scott Shafer
Scott A. Shafer, age 61, of Celina, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 16, 1961 in Lima to the late Alan and Helen Maxine (Benedict) Shafer.
Scott is also survived by his partner Deb Diller of Celina and her son, Sidney George of Columbus; two sisters, Dawn (Kent) Hinton of Celina and Amy (Ken) Phlipot of Celina; and many nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Shafer.
Scott was a 1979 graduate of Celina High School. He worked at Huffy Bicycle Company in Celina for 15 years and retired from Crown Equipment Corp. in Celina after 25 years of service. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina; where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm before the service. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
