Dave Kuhn
Dave L. Kuhn, age 87 of Celina, Ohio passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
He was born on January 17, 1935 in Celina, Ohio to the late Lee A. and Gladys (Ellerman) Kuhn. On November 20, 1999 he married Nancy (Collins) Miller, who survives residing in Galion, Ohio.
Dave is also survived by his children; Lance (Kimberley) Kuhn of Fishers, IN, Damon (Cynthia) Kuhn of Needville, TX, Tracy (Christopher) Meihls of Ft. Wayne, IN, Marc (Shelley) Kuhn of Neptune, five grandchildren: Emily Kuhn, Abigail Kuhn, Samuel Kuhn, Mattheiu Meihls and Cody McKee, sister-in-law Ruth Kuhn of Celina and the mother of his children, Carole (Allen) Kuhn.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Jessica Kuhn, brother Donald Kuhn, and his sister Shirley Cooperrider.
Dave graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1953. He was a varsity athlete for Celina High School in Football and Track and Field and held the mile record for Track and Field for many years. He owned and operated Kuhn Design Group. His company designed and built custom homes; one proud accomplishment for him was having his finest projects, published in Better Homes and Gardens. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, Celina Eagles Grand Lake Aerie #1291 and the Celina American Legion Post #210.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Vicar Andrea McDonough officiating.
A visitation for friends and family will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Builders 1100 N. Main St. Celina, Ohio.
