* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Nadine McClain
Nadine M. (Hunt) McClain, of Springdale Arkansas, formerly of Lima Ohio and Islamorada, Florida, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 10, 2022 at 1:27 am at her home surrounded by family.
She was born May 2, 1934, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Treece C and Florence (Green) Hunt.
In high school, she was very good student, played in the band, was a cheerleader, was the Carnival Queen and on various courts. She also was in various high school plays and had the lead in the play her senior year. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1952. She married James D. McClain on September 27, 1952.
Nadine worked at Huntington National Bank for over 40 years. She retired in 1997 as an Assistant Vice-President and Manager of the Northland Plaza office. Nadine also taught banking courses at The Ohio State University. Nadine and Jim enjoyed boating on Lake Erie in the "Meanie Deanie" and traveling in their motorhome.
Nadine was also a good bowler and golfer. She was a member of the Lima Exchange Club and a member of the United Way Board. Being the Banker, Nadine, was the "Go To" person of the family for money issues. She was an animal lover and had dogs and cats all of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa L McClain Smith (Denny) of Celina, Ohio and her son James L. McClain (Ronda) of Springdale, AR. Her Grandchildren are Angie (Adam) Clayton, of Hebron, KY, Brent (Katie) Smith, of Blacklick, Ohio, Jimmy (Stephanie) McClain, of Bentonville, AR, Joe McClain and Katie McClain of Springdale, AR and Jon (Ashley) McClain of Conway, AR.
Great Grandchildren are Kylie Clayton, Collins Clayton and Connley Clayton of Hebron, KY. Jamie (Christian) McClain Monroy of Springdale AR, Iassac McClain of Springdale, AR, Jay McClain and Sadie McClain of Bentonville, AR, Maisie McClain of Conway, AR. Great Great Grandson is James Oliver McClain of Bentonville AR.
Siblings and in-laws include Treece B. Hunt (Pete) (Diane) of Florida, Myrna Hunt Myers of Harrod, OH, Ross Delno (Liz) Hunt of Wapakoneta, OH, Jane Lou Hunt Wood of Cario, OH. Loyal Hunt (Joe) (Lynn) of Lima, OH, Connie Jo Hunt Hogan of Elida, OH, Anna Mae McKinney and Sue Hunt of Lima, OH.
Nadine was proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, James D. McClain (Jim), on May 5, 2018, Grandson, Jonathan D. McClain, siblings and in-laws William (Lavern) Hunt, Paul Hunt, Clifford (Dodie) Hunt, Doris Hunt Hartzog, (Gene), Harry Hunt, Wendel Myers, Willis Wood, Bill Hogan, James Melvin Hunt and Clarence Otto Hunt, her parents and various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nadine will always be remembered for her big smile, bright lipstick, polished finger nails and helpful attitude. As our hearts ache for the physical loss of her, we find serenity knowing that she is now with God. She is pain- free and at peace, and for that, we are grateful.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lima Baptist Temple, Lima, Ohio on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and Service at 11:00 am. Pastor, Gary Hohman will preside. Ashes will be spread in the Florida Keys at a later date.
