* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Meier
Robert B. Meier, age 93, of Celina, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Otterbein St. Marys SeniorLife Community.
He was born December 28, 1928, in Celina, to Joseph V. and Mary A. (Schoesser) Meier. Robert married Helen E. (Mancz) Fuller on April 4, 1992, and she preceded him in death May 20, 2006.
He is survived by three step-children: Roy (Joyce) Fuller of Angola, IN, Jake (Leslie) Fuller of Corona, IL, and Joyce Hackney of Celina, seven step-grandchildren, and many step-great and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces & nephews: Ed (Barb) Rump and Lori Garman of New Bremen, Jeff (Beth) Rump of Golden, Colorado, great nieces & nephews: Eddie (Rickie) Rump, Jason Rump, Christan (Kris) Hyde, Robyn Schwieterman, and Brian Garman, and great-great nieces & nephews: Allison Rump, Everett and Piper Hyde, and Noah and Ivan Schwieterman.
Bob was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers: Marian "Mamie" Rump, and Herbert, Joseph, and Norbert Paul Meier, and a step-grandson, John Silliman.
A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He retired from the Celina Post Office, where he had worked as a Mail Clerk and Carrier. Bob was a member of Celina American Legion Post #210 and VFW Post #5713. A faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bob enjoyed attending Mass, and was dedicated to praying the rosary daily.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, with Fr. Ken Schnipke, C.PP.S., presiding. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Celina, with graveside Military Rites.
Friends and family may call before the funeral services on Wednesday morning, from 9:30 to 10:15, at W.H. Dick & Sons- Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
