BerthaJane Pummell
BerthaJane Pummell, age 84, of Celina, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio.
She was born May 12, 1937 in Van Wert County, Ohio to the late Andrew and Freda (Mongold) Myers. On April 24, 1964 she married Dale Pummell and he survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include her son, Mark (Kelly) Pummell, Celina; a sister, Helen (David) Elzy, Convoy, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Donn (Rebecca) Pummell, Findlay, Ohio; and two nieces and one nephew.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Jon Pummell; a sister, Sharon Myers; a brother, Douglas Myers; and her father and mother-in-law, Rev. Wesley and Carolyn (Selby) Pummell.
BerthaJane was a 1955 graduate of Van Wert High School and the Beauty Academy in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing and being a homemaker raising her two sons. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all. She was a member of Grace Missionary Church in Celina.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at North Grove Cemetery in Celina with Pastor Shawn Harrison officiating.
