* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norma Lhamon
Norma A. Lhamon, 100, of St. Marys, OH died 5:47 a.m. Friday March 25, 2022 at Otterbein - St. Marys, most recently making her home with her daughter.
She was born April 28, 1921 in Auglaize Co., OH to Theodore and Mary (Schnarre) Meckstroth. On December 10, 1945 she married Dean E. Lhamon, who preceded her in death December 16, 2007.
Survivors include: daughter Mary "Barbara" Lhamon of St. Marys, OH; Son Mike (Sharon) Lhamon of St. Marys, OH; Son Tim Lhamon of St. Marys, OH; Daughter Denise (Dave) Wirrig of Greensburg, IN; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; Sister Eileeen Witt of Littleton, CO.
Preceded in death by: parents Theodore and Mary Meckstroth; husband Dean Lhamon; infant daughter Connie Sue Lhamon; infant great-grandson Dylan Henning; daughter-in-law Pam Lhamon; brother Carl Meckstroth of Scottsdale, AZ.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1939) and Ohio Northern University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education. She taught third grade for 20 years at West Elementary for the St. Marys City Schools and was a member of the Teachers' Sorority. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys and its Rebecca Circle; and, also active in its Women's Study Club for 50 years.
She loved being outdoors, taking her daily walks, even past her 100th birthday. Faith and family were the cornerstones of Norma's life. She was an active member of her church and took keen interest in the lives and activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral rites to celebrate Norma's life are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday April 8, 2022 at the Meyer Community Chapel at Otterbein - St. Marys. The Rev. Rhonda Hainer will officiate the services. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday in the Meyer Community.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Organ Fund at St. Paul's UCC, the Thomas A. Howard Scholarship Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
