* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Hogrefe
David "Whitey" Hogrefe, 86, of St. Marys, OH died Sunday February 27, 2022 at his residence.
He was born September 1, 1935 in Liberty Center, OH to Albert and Lydia (Norton) Hogrefe. On August 9, 1969 in St. Marys, he married Sharon Gibbons, who survives.
Also survived by: son Brian Baker of St. Marys, OH; Brother Elmer Hogrefe of Napoleon, OH; Twin sister Dorothy Ford of Yellsville, AR; Sister Barbara "Boots" Sorentino of Seattle, WA; Sister-in-law Mary Turner of Harrisonburg, VA; Brother-in-law Jack Copsey of St. Marys, OH; Brother-in-law Al Harruff of Wapakoneta, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Albert and Lydia Hogrefe; brother Dick Hogrefe; sister Marie Barton; brother John Hogrefe; sister Donna Arndt; sister Esther Miller; brother Donald Hogrefe; brother Thomas Hogrefe; sister-in-law Judy Wiehe; sister-in-law Sally Harruff.
A retired heavy-equipment specialist, he worked as a crane operator for Wren Reese Corp in Napoleon for many years. His favorite pastimes included watching movies and all types of sporting events.
Private family services will be held.
