* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kenneth Hunter
R. Kenneth Hunter, 93, of St. Marys, OH died 4:30 a.m. Thursday February 17, 2022 at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1928 in St. Marys, OH to Russell and Marie (Preuter) Hunter. On February 11, 1951 in St. Marys he married Louise Colvin, who died February 22, 1999.
Survivors include: daughter Linda (Richard) Ashman of St. Marys, OH; son Douglas (Deb) Hunter of Sidney, OH; daughter Shirley Amato of St. Marys, OH; 6 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents Russell and Marie Hunter; wife Louise Hunter; brother Arthur Hunter; sister Dorothy Wehnes; sister Edna Wurster.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1946) and Milwaukee School of Engineering. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, having served as an aviation mechanic at the end of World War II. He owned and operated Hunter Bros. Plumbing & Heating Co. in St. Marys for many years. A skilled private pilot, he held additional certification to fly experimental aircraft. He enjoyed golfing and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He was a die-hard fan of Roughrider sports and University of Dayton basketball. Kenny will be remembered as strong-willed and methodical. Many residents of St. Marys will recall seeing the airplanes that he built in his garage.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday February 21, 2022 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial, with full military funeral honors, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
