* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Berniece Braun
Berniece F. Braun, age 92, of Celina, passed away on January 24, 2022 at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
She was born December 10, 1929 in Celina to the late Orville (Bob) and Arbutus D. (Roser) Alt.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Reed) Niekamp, Celina, Eileen (Mike) Moeller, Coldwater, Keith (Jeanne) Braun, Celina, Martha (Tom) Prenger, Celina and Alan (Cindy) Braun, Celina; two sisters-in-law, Patty Alt, Iowa and Pat Alt, Columbus; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Dale Alt; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Alt.
She was a 1947 graduate of Celina Senior High School. Berniece retired from General Telephone Company after 17 years of service. Berniece enjoyed playing cards, bingo and board games. She loved her time with her family and friends, most important to her was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who will miss her deeply.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral liturgy and celebration of life services will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the funeral home with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Endowment Fund.
