Jodia Kay Long, 60, of St. Marys, OH died 9:12 a.m. Sunday January 9, 2022 at Versailles Health Care Center in Versailles, OH.

She was born June 20, 1961 in Hillsdale, MI to Martha K. Horton.

She is survived by: son Neal Schmidt of Celina, OH; daughter Corie (Brian) Woesner of Richmond, IN; son Jeremiah (Nikki) Schmidt of Mendon, OH; 8 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren; mother Martha Horton (Schmidt) of St. Marys, OH; brother Chris Horton of St. Marys, OH.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a nursing assistant at area healthcare facilities in her earlier years. Later in her life, she was a representative for Avon in the area. Jodia was a loving mother and grandmother. Jodia was active in her local community. Known for her kindness and consideration to others, she truly enjoyed volunteering for the monthly meals at the Auglaize Co. Council on Aging in St. Marys. She was an active member of Hillsdale United Brethren in Christ Church in St. Marys.

To honor her life, two gatherings of family and friends will be observed. The first will be 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday January 16, 2022 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.

The second will be 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the funeral home on High Street.
