Richard Moyar
Richard "Rick" Moyar, 63, of St. Marys, Ohio, died 10:33 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Lima Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born November 3, 1958, in St. Marys, the son of Jesse and Mary (Fortman) Moyar. After 23 years together, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Ankerman, on February 15, 2020; she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Travis (Shelly) Moyar of Celina; Nicole (Antonio) Wilson of St. Marys; Brandon (Whitney Kroft) Moyar of Celina; Jennifer Pummell of St. Marys; Dylan Shon Moyar of New Bremen. He is survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; by his siblings: Jim Moyar of St. Marys; Diane Hardeman of Bowling Green, Ohio; Barb Revolt of St. Marys; Wyche Sunderland of St. Marys; Steve Moyar of St. Marys; Rudy Olivio of Columbus Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Tommy Moyar.
Rick worked in the Maintenance Department for many years at JTDMH, and he retired from Goodyear St. Marys. He loved camping and hunting in Canada, and also playing cards. He was a member of the Turkey Foundation and Eagles' Lodge 767.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Ohio, the Reverend Bill Maki, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either the Diabetes' Foundation or to Stroke Awareness.
