* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Janice Daugherty
Janice Daugherty, age 96, of St. Marys, passed away at 12:00 pm, December 2, 2021 at Otterbein St. Marys Senior Life Community in St. Marys.
She was born May 23, 1925 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Gerald and Pearl (Chrisler) Burden. On August 31, 1946 she married Earl Daugherty and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2009.
Surviving is a son, Larry (Bobbi) Daugherty, St. Marys; a daughter, Barbara Slomers, Montgomery, Mich.; a sister, Lois Axe, St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Daugherty, St. Marys.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Also preceding her in death is a son-in-law, Tim Slomers; a sister, Mary Renbarger; and a brother, John Burden.
Janice spent most of her life caring for and loving her family while working as a homemaker. When she was able Janice was a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys,; where she taught Sunday school for 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys with Pastor William Maki officiating; where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys.
