Barbara Cordonnier
Barbara S. Cordonnier age 81 of Russia, Ohio died at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Miami County Hospice Inpatient Unit, Troy, Ohio.
She was born on May 4, 1940 in Russia, Ohio to the late Venitious & Magdalene (Sherman) Voisard. She married August F. Cordonnier on May 13, 1961 in St. Remy Church, Russia. He survives in Russia.
She is also survived by children: Lori & Richard Homan, Maria Stein, Lynn & Jamie Herron, Russia, Robert & Lori Cordonnier, Russia, Jodi & Mark Shimp, Versailles, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way, brothers, Jerry & Laura Mae Voisard, Sidney, Ohio, Kenneth & Mary Jo Voisard, Russia, Ohio, in-laws: Mary Jo Schimmel, Covington, Bill & Sue Cordonnier, Cardiff, CA, Carol & Amos Johns, Piqua, Doris Cordonnier, Minster, Kenny Schwartz, Russia, Connie Cordonnier, New Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by brother Donald Voisard & sister, Rita Voisard, in-laws Paul & Rosie Cordonnier, Jim Cordonnier, Tom & Rosemary Cordonnier, Rachelle Cordonnier, Marie Schwartz, Kenny Cordonnier.
She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia and the St. Remy women's and mixed Choirs. She was also a member of the Ladies Park Group and a Loyal Russia Raider fan. She had worked for the City of Dayton prior to her marriage and then was a caregiver for children.
Per Barb's request Barb & Augie's immediate & extended families are invited to a private viewing from 4:00 to 7:30 PM on Wednesday November 24, 2021.
A Public Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday November 26, 2021 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, all are invited to attend. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Miami County Hospice and the Russia Fire Department.
