* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Barbara Steele
Barbara Jane Steele, age 64 of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.
On July 30, 1957, she was born to the late Babe and Tressie (Tolor) Morgan in Celina. In 1990, she married John Steele who survives in Celina.
She is survived by her daughters Jackie (Travis) Binkley of Paris, TN, Heather (Andrew) Heitkamp of St. Marys, step daughter Tiffany (Chris) Mavis of Wapakoneta, grandchildren Jeffery (Tara) Gruwell of Ft. Wayne, IN, Brooke Myers (Korey Rick) of Paris, TN, Ashley Slife (Brian McEldowney) of St. Marys, Ryan Slife of St. Marys, Jaden Heitkamp of St. Marys, Trenton Slife of St. Marys, step grandchildren Austin, Kirston, Weston, Jaden, great-grandchildren Zailey, Cambri, Ryker, Karter, Haizley, Kalon, Lux, Maverick, six step-great grandchildren, sisters Brenda (Ted) Trego of Celina, Anita Ellis of Celina, and sister-in-law Jeanette Morgan of Celina.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jerry Morgan, Steve "Buck" Morgan, sisters Debbie (George) Fair, brother-in-law Beven Ellis, nephew Stevie D. Morgan, and grandson Dustin Slife.
She was a member of the Abounding Grace Ministries in Celina and enjoyed baking, playing bingo, going to garage sales, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercery Memory Garden Cemetery in Celina.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
