Joseph Hughes
Joseph B. Hughes, 36, of Celina, OH died unexpectedly at 6:07 p.m. on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at The OSU Hospitals in Columbus, OH.
He was born April 12, 1985 in Erie, PA. On June 26, 2021 in Celina, OH he married Shaunda Danielle Nikole Burkholder, who survives.
He is also survived by: mother Michelle (Thomas) Hughes of Celina, OH; son Tyler Watters of Celina, OH; step-children: Joshua Makley, Jr. and Collin Makley, both of Lima, OH; Gabrien Makley, Ahlivia Makley, Shon Makley, Zander Makley, Jaydin Makley, Lydia Makley and Brookelynne Hoffman, all of Celina, OH; sister Tiffany Busch of Celina, OH; nieces and nephew: Teigan Busch, Silas Busch and Ella Busch; close friends: Doug Thomas of Celina, OH and Dan Sendelbach of Celina, OH; uncle Brian Vogel of Erie, PA; aunt Brenda Nelson of Erie, PA; In-laws: Trish and Steve Dotson, Bruce (Connie Ellerbrock) Burkholder; brother-in-law Levi Burkholder; sister-in-law Mary (Spencer Mowery) Burkholder and Amanda (Joe) Bruce.
Preceded in death by: step-daughter Gabriella Makley; maternal grandparents Donald and Patricia Vogel; paternal grandparents Dorman and Jean Hughes; numerous aunts and uncles; brother-in-law Shon Burkholder.
He was a graduate of Celina Sr. High High School (Class of 2004). He was employed as the store manager for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Celina, OH. An avid gamer, he truly enjoyed spending time with family and close friends.
Private family services will be held.
