* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

James Maier
James Lee Maier, age 84 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Oct.25, 2021 at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
He was born on April 8, 1937 in Rockford, Ohio to the late George J. and Matilda R. (Leugers) Maier. On July 4, 1959 he married Shirley Ann (Bertke) Maier, who died July 24, 2014.
He is survived by his children Daniel L. (Susan) Maier of Celina, Brenda L. Maier of Dallas, TX, Kimberly S. Barhorst of Wapakoneta, Ronda Westover of Celina, and Shawn (Lacey Trumbull) Maier of Celina. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law Richard (Patricia) Maier of Celina, Dallas (Linda) Maier of Celina, Phyllis Maier of Celina, sister Mary Jo Colson of Celina, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jerry Bertke of Ft. Recovery, Lou Bertke of Tremont, IL, Melvin (Karen) Bertke of Ft. Recovery, Judith Homan of Ft. Recovery, and his loving dog Goldie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Robert Maier, and sister and brothers-in-law Ruth (Cletus) Stoepfel, Dick Colson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Leroy (Georgia) Bertke, Wally Bertke, Ernie Homan, Pat Bertke, Kathy Bertke, and one great-grandchild.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He was formerly employed as a machinist and a press operator at AVCO New Idea in Coldwater, Parker Hannifin, and a janitor at OMNI Manufacturing both in St. Marys.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends and Family may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 and an hour before services on Thursday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
