CELINA - Some school board members vowed to remove an apparently contentious component of a newly introduced reading curriculum that some parents believe is too complicated for young children to grasp.

A Celina man was injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, according to information from the Celina Police Department.
On Thursday at about 10:21 p.m. police received a report of a motorcycle crash in front of Celina Mobile Home Park, 440 Touvelle St, according to police.
MINSTER - A barn that caught fire Sunday on South Shelby Road was deemed a total loss, according to Minster Fire Chief Richard Prenger.
No injuries were reported in the blaze reported around 4 p.m., he said. The structure reportedly was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
