* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Karen Fahncke
Karen Lee Fahncke, 60, of New Knoxville, and formerly of Rockford, passed away on October 06, 2021 at Van Wert Health.
She was born on January 01, 1961, in Kenton, the daughter of the late Richard Henry Wilcox and Janice Sue (Stephan) Wilcox. On June 25, 1983, she married Joseph "Joe" Fahncke, who survives. Together, they shared many years of memories.
Karen graduated with a Bachelor's in Christian Education from Cincinnati Bible College. Karen worked for many years at Henkle Insurance in Rockford, where she was a secretary but also held her license as an insurance agent. Above all, Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her whole world.
In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by one son; Matt (Angie) Fahncke of Minster, one daughter; Stephanie (Tom) Lucas of Fairfield, Two brothers; Rick (Kathie Hankins) Wilcox of Findlay, and Douglas Wilcox of Bowling Green; one sister; Kathy (Robert) Sirmons of Findlay; and four grandchildren; Jaxon, Easton, Zoey, and Tucker.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday morning, October 12, 2021, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home 111 W. First Street Rockford, OH 45882. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford, OH 45882.
Family and friends will be received Monday, October 11, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home 111 W. First Street Rockford, OH 45882.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen`s memory may be sent to Parkway Athletic Boosters or to JDRF, Southern and Central Ohio Chapter.
