* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ida VanTilburg
Ida Mae VanTilburg, 88, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born on January 8, 1933, in Mercer County to the late James and Mabel (Deitsch) Denney. In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth A. VanTilburg, whom she married on March 29, 1952; her sister, Majorie Haas and her husband, Harold; and her brother-in-law, Robert VanTilburg.
Ida was a 1950 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She worked for Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina for many years until her retirement in 2004. Ida was a proud Indian and was active in the Fort Recovery Alumni Association. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and following Fort Recovery Basketball. Ida was formerly a member of the Macedon Congregational Christian Church.
Ida is survived by her children, Kenny (Mary) VanTilburg, and Deb Schwieterman, all of Celina; and her grandchildren, Michael, David, Stephanie, Travis, and Tyler Schwieterman; her 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Ida's life will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with Pastor Roy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Guests may visit with Ida's family on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
