Livestock champions sell at auction

The reserve champion beef steer shown by Mercer County Junior Cattlemen's Association member Karlee Knapke, daughter of Chad and Andrea Knapke, sold for $2,900 to a group including Homestead Quality Bedding, Overman Trucking LLC, Hull Bros., Farmer Merchant State Bank, Pioneer Seeds-Kevin Boeckman, Knapke Cattle LLC, Eiting Real Estate LLC, Knapke Dozing, A1 Ag Services, Midwest Plumbing, K&L Tractor Sales, St. Henry Tile, Kenn-Feld Group, Seth & Amanda Kohnen, Mercer County Electric and BA Genetics.
