* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Abels
Thomas L. Abels, age 68, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at his home in Mendon. Born August 1, 1953, in Coldwater, he was a son of the late Wilfred B. "Bill" Abels and Rose Mary (Birkmeyer) Abels Yaney.
Tom is survived by a brother & two sisters: Jerry Abels of Denver, Colorado,Tina (Steve) Temple of Celina, and Mary Abels of Lima.
Preceding him in death were a brother & sister-in-law: Richard John "Dick" & Wilma Abels.
A 1971 graduate of Coldwater High School, he had been employed at Cooper Farms in St. Henry for over 20 years. Tom enjoyed fishing and watching football, and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Calling Hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Wednesday, August 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 7:00, with Joe Rios officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
