* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jeffrey Luginbill Sr.

Jeffrey A. "Jeff" Luginbill, Sr., 58, of Willshire passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his home.

He was born on December 29, 1962, in Celina, the son of the late Kenneth Luginbill and Clara Louise (Schott) Luginbill. On August 4, 1984, he married the former Sara Stutz, who survives. Together they shared over 26 years of memories.

Jeff worked for 31 years at Bunge in Decatur, Indiana, where he ran the boilers. He was also a lifelong farmer. Jeff enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Sara, Jeff is survived by his son Jeffrey "Allen" Luginbill, Jr., (Samantha) of Oakwood, Ohio, daughter Ashely Luginbill of Willshire, brother Scott Luginbill (Jill), and sister Ruth Whitten (Charlie).

As well as his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Luginbill, Jr.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First Street Rockford, OH 45882, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, OH.

Family and friends will be received from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 30, 2021 and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday July 31, 2021, both at the funeral home.
