Guilty of 4 counts of sexual battery

VAN WERT - A former Parkway teacher was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday for four counts of sexual battery involving a former student.
Kevin A. Browning, 44, was sentenced to a total of 72 months in prison by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court Judge Martin Burchfield.     Browning had pleaded guilty to four third-degree felony counts of sexual battery in May. [More]

ST. HENRY - Every time Coldwater was poised for a run-rule win, Celina staved it off.
The Cavaliers ripped off nine runs in the top of the first, only to see the Bulldogs cut it to 9-8. The next Coldwater surge held, but after falling behind by 10 in the fifth and the sixth, Celina plated a run to extend the game. [More]

Officials: Heat, relaxed pandemic rules draw crowds
