* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Clarence Black
Clarence J. Black, 73, passed away June 30, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born April 19, 1948 in Celina, Ohio to Clarence & Josephine (Billerman) Black. On August 17, 1968 he married the love of his life Sheryl Mohr; she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susan.
Surviving are 3 wonderful children, Stephanie (Brent) Seals, Sherrye Black, Eric Black, 5 grandchildren, Kendall, Thomas, Kaia, Satchel, Nadia 3 great-grandchildren, Kinslee, Kielee, Sophia. Also surviving are 2 siblings, Dick (Connie) Black, Roberta (Walt) Schmidt, numerous other family members. Clarence and Sheryl also had many other "adopted" children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren left to cherish their memory.
Clarence moved to Indiana in 1976 to make a better life for the family. He worked for Skyline Corp. for close to 40 years before his retirement in June 2014. You could usually find him with a fishing pole in his hand, watching NASCAR, traipsing through the woods looking for mushrooms or just doing anything outside.
The family will do a celebration of life service on July 24, 2021, times and locations are to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
