* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ruth Davis
Ruth Monica (Tabler) Davis, 101, of St. Marys, OH died peacefully at 8:07 p.m. on Monday at The Laurels in Rockford, OH.
Ruth was born in St Marys December 7, 1919. She was the youngest child of the late Margaret (Shanks) Tabler and Granville (Bud) Tabler.
She was a lifelong parishioner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys. Ruth was a graduate of Memorial High School (Class of 1937) and St. Rita's School of Nursing in Lima, OH. A registered nurse, she staffed the offices for many years for Dr. Dale Kile in St. Marys and Dr. Richard Harbord in New Knoxville. She was a member of Beta Sigma Fi, and Soroptimist Club. Ruth enjoyed playing bridge with various bridge groups in St. Marys.
She married Kenneth Davis on May 3, 1945. Kenneth preceded Ruth in death, in December 1994. Her brothers: Bernard Tabler and Lawrence (DeDe) Tabler, and her sister, Sister Esther Tabler, S.F., preceded her in death.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter: Kate Davis Uhart and son-in-law: Rick Uhart of Estero, FL; granddaughter Cori (Dennis) Tharp of Independence, MO. She was also the beloved great grandmother of Monica Tharp and Nicholas Tharp. Ruth was a beloved aunt to nieces and nephews on both the Davis and Tabler sides of her family.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 21, 2021 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in St Marys Ohio.
Visitation 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ruth's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Maplewood and at The Laurels for their love and care.
