* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marie Powell
Marie D. Powell, age 92, of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her home.
She was born May 9, 1929 in St. Henry to the late Julius & Viola (Kessen) Froning. On June 28, 1947 she married Glenn L. Powell and he died May 8, 2003.
She is survived by children, Gene Powell of Celina, Dennis (Jennifer) Powell of Pataskala, Larry Powell of Celina, Mike (Kathy) Powell of Celina, Lisa (Kevin) Kennedy of Coldwater, Brian Powell of Indiana, Lora (Roger) Wellman of Coldwater, Sandi (Dan) Feltz of Coldwater; in laws, Bill Puthoff of Chickasaw, and Wanda Powell of Celina; 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; a brother Charles (Ann) Froning of Coldwater and a sister-in-law Carol Powell of St. Marys.
She is also preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy Puthoff; son John Powell; son-in-law Jeff Kremer; and siblings and in-laws, Ruth (Don) Deitsch, Rita (Paul) Kittle, Jack Powell, Herman Powell, Olas Powell Jr. and Thelma (Bob) Smith.
Marie was a longtime nursing assistant at Coldwater Hospital and a member of Holy Trinity Church in Coldwater.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 PM Friday June 11, 2021 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow at the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 2 PM until time of services.
Memorials may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
