* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Cheryl L. "Sherry" Swartz age 54, of Russia, Ohio died at 2:25 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy, Ohio.
She was born August 23, 1966 in Sidney, Ohio to Cletus & Dorothy (Aselage) Poeppelman. Her mother survives in Anna. She married John "Jack" Swartz on May 16, 1992 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. He survives in Russia.
She is also survived by son: Jordan and daughter Katie both at home, brothers & sisters: Deborah and William Schutt, of Hammond, Indiana, Ronald (dec) and Marie Poeppelman, of Houston, John and Leigh Anne, Poeppelman of Elkhart, Indiana, Karen and Robert Gephart, of Sidney, Beverly and Wayne Gehle, of Maplewood, Mary and Gary Foltz, of Maplewood, Robert and Kristina Poeppelman, of Minster, Nancy and Michael Zizelman, of Maria Stein, Mark and Bonnie Poeppelman, of Sidney, Joan and Dennis Lichtenberg, of Sidney, and Neal and Tracy Poeppelman, of Sidney.
She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, and of the Russia Mother's Club. She was a graduate of Houston High School in 1984 and was a Human Resources Representative at Riverside Manufacturing. Sherry was known as caring mother and a genuine and loving person.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia with Rev. Martin Fox celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery, Russia.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County and The OSU James Cancer Center, Columbus, OH.
