* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Langsdon
Ronald E. Langsdon, 83, of St. Marys, died 1:17 P.M. Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 20, 1937, in St. Marys, the son of Virgil and Ruth (Duncan) Langsdon. He married Ruth Weadock on April 11, 1959, at the Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys, and she survives at the residence.
He is survived by his children: Eric (Suzanne) Langsdon of St. Marys; Mark (Kathy) Langsdon of St. Marys; Lisa (Steve) Stroh of St. Marys; Lori (James) Karner of St. Marys.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Beth Kennedy; Andrew Langsdon; Philip (Jennifer Franczak) Langsdon; Leslie (Chad) Laman; William Geeslin); Sara (Trevor) Sterling; Rachel (Ryan) Rupert; Lindsey Karner; Hannah (Andrew) Vondrell; Mitch Karner; Allison (Ryan) Perry; Max Karner; Gretchen Langsdon. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Lilly; Laney; Mason; Lauren; Ella; Even: Eliot; Redmond; Reagan; Lydia; Louise; Ruby. He is survived by his sister, Karen Koehring of Green, Ohio; by extended family Mike (Barb) Weadock; Tom (Jan) Dwenger; and William Demora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his step-father, Wilbur Lee; by his sister, Brenda Dwenger; sister-in-law, Virginia Demora; brother-in-law, Stephen Weadock; and by his granddaughters: Lauren Geeslin and Megan Langsdon.
Ron was a 1955 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He served in the U.S. Army for two years, then attended International Business College. He was the owner and president of Fluid Power Assembly Corporation in St. Marys.
He enjoyed collecting minerals and musical instruments. He was a longtime member of Pheasants Forever and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys, where over the years he had served as a deacon and communion server.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, the Reverend Bill Maki, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St. Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
