James Lockhart
James Lockhart, 30, of New Bremen, Ohio, died suddenly on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at his residence.
He was born November 16, 1990, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Millisa Goodman and James "Ed" Lockhart.
He is survived by his parents: Millisa (Will Boyd) Goodman of Otway, Ohio; Ed (Michele) Lockhart of Middletown, Ohio; his sister: Lauren (Aaron Ginter) Goodman of New Bremen; by his children: Destiney Lockhart of Sidney and Kailyx Ladow of Mendon. He is survived by his step-siblings: J.D.; Zequoia; Zeke; Zoey; Zac; Zakiah; Zeph; by his nieces, Rylan and Esmee Ginter.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Quinten Howard.
James attended New Bremen High School and graduated from Ace Academy in 2009. He was employed at Opus Packaging in New Bremen. James was an avid online gamer and an X-Box fan. He was very tech savvy and loved history.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 28, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Becky Erb Strang, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
Friends may call from 12:30 until the time of services on Sunday at the funeral home. All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask, in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
Memorial gifts may be given to James' children, and condolences may be sent to his family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
