* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Steven 'Bo' Shannon
Steven "Bo" Shannon, 73, of Saint Marys, died suddenly at 6:30 P.M. Monday, March 1, 2021, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born December 12, 1947, in Celina, Ohio, the son of William and Nancy (Overley) Shannon.
He is survived by his son: Jay (Nikki) Shannon of Saint Marys; by his step-children: Jeff (Julie) Perry of Saint Marys; Troy (Deb) Perry of Saint Marys; Tony (Amy) Perry of Saint Marys; Teresa (Doug) Noll of Celina; Bretta Slone of Saint Marys. He is survived by his grandchildren: Kelsey Shannon; Emily Koeper; Devin Shannon; Audrey Shannon, and by his siblings: Marcia O'Brien of Saint Marys; Linda (Craig) Hunter of Saint Marys.
He was preceded by his parents.
Bo was a 1966 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and he retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Bo enjoyed going to harness races, bowling, fishing for crappie and he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a huge fan of the Saint Marys Roughriders.
Funeral rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask, in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department Of Health.
