* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Moeller
David D. Moeller, age 80, of Cassella, died Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence.
He was born April 13, 1940 in St. Sebastian, to the late Gerhard & Ida (Goecke) Moeller. On November 26, 1960, he married Margie (Thobe) in St. John Church, and she survives in Cassella.
He is also survived by children and in-laws, Peg (Lloyd) Huey of Mendon, Dale (Lynn) Moeller of Winslow, AZ, Carl (Heather) Moeller of St. Marys, Kathy Amstutz of Albany, IN, Kim (Andy) Berger of Ansonia, Jane (Martin) Ford of Louisville, KY, Beth (Chris) Wallace of Columbus and Amber (Kitt) Tuttle of Louisville, KY; 27 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and in-laws, Ginny Moeller of Vandalia, Evelyn Moeller of Sidney, Jiggs (Velma) Thobe of Maria Stein, Mart (Tom) Warner of New Bremen, Don (Patty) Thobe of Maria Stein, Brownie (Shirley) Thobe of Maria Stein, Jean Thobe of Maria Stein, Lois (Jay) Hogenkamp of Carthagena, and Larry Thobe of St. Marys.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson Dylan Berger; siblings and in-laws, Paul (Rosemary) Moeller, Ott Moeller, Earl Moeller, Ruth (Stan) Kremer, Butch (Mary) Thobe, Alice (Leonard) Varno, Barney (Mary) Thobe, Buck (Norma) Thobe, Whitey (Ginny) Thobe, Marilyn (Dale) Miller, Toot (John) Mescher, Dutch Thobe and Linda Thobe.
He was a member of Nativity of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, the Men's Society of the church, and the Knights of St. John in Maria Stein. David was a farmer and delivered Air Stream trailers. He loved spending time with family and watching sports, especially his grandchildren's activities, traveling and playing cards.
A Funeral Mass following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, with livestream at http://www.marioncatholiccommunity.org/live-stream.html.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 23rd, and 9 to 10 am on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude or State of the Heart Care.
