Celina boy gets life-saving liver

CELINA - After waiting four months on the United Network for Organ Sharing active liver transplant list, the Mustard family finally received "the call" this weekend: Colten was going to get a new liver.
His parents had been praying and anxiously awaiting the day their son would receive the organ. Colten, 12, has biliary atresia, a rare, life-threatening disease that affects one in every 10,000-15,000 children. [More]
Plans for 4 Marion Local classrooms

MARIA STEIN - Superintendent Mike Pohlman told Marion Local Schools Board of Education members on Monday that groundbreaking for the elementary school classroom addition is tentatively set for March 25.
Plans call for adding four classrooms and renovating other space to accommodate rising enrollment. The cost has been estimated at $1.875 million. The project will not require new tax money. [More]
