Theresa Jean Platfoot, age 54, of St. Rt. 47, Houston, passed away of natural causes Thursday evening, December 17, 2020, at Wilson Health Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. She was born February 17, 1966, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Roger & Mary (Seger) Platfoot.

Surviving are three sisters: Mary Ann & Andy Stevenson of Wapakoneta, Eileen & Philip Knief of New Bremen and Phyllis & Jeffry Clark of Houston along with several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one infant sister, Joyce Marie Platfoot and an infant nephew, Kyle Thomas Clark.

Theresa was a 1985 graduate of Russia High School and the Upper Valley JVS in Piqua where she studied restaurant operations. She was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Newport. Theresa was a generous and good-hearted person. She did a lot of babysitting and "looking after" her nieces, nephews and younger cousins. Theresa also enjoyed embroidering, playing cards and listening to Air Supply.

A private funeral service concluding with interment at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Theresa's memory may be made to offset final expenses.
