Jill Maras
Jill A. Maras, age 61, of Celina, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born June 9, 1959, in Celina, to John & Doris Ann (Ballinger) Maras. Jill's mother preceded her in death August 20, and her brother, Jon Alan Maras, on December 7, 2016. Jill's father, John, survives in Celina, as well as her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was also preceded in death by two uncles: James Maras and Steve Maras.
A graduate of Celina High School, Jill enjoyed volunteering at the School Library with Mrs. Vorhees. She could solve difficult word puzzles and was an avid reader. Jill had a sharp mind and a great memory. According to her family, "If you couldn't remember something, ask Jill".
Jill enjoyed traveling; she had taken trips to Hawaii, Europe and to Disney World twice. She collected Precious Moments figurines.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Mercer Memory Gardens, with Pastor Jon Exman, officiating.
