Joan Wagner
Joan E. Wagner, age 94, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born May 6, 1926 in Coldwater to the late Archibald & Frieda (Hoying) Schlosser. On July 6, 1946 she married Clarence "Bud" Wagner and he died August 29, 1992.
She is survived by children Michael Wagner of Coldwater, Joyce Scott of Hamilton, Deb (Ron) Forsthoefel of Loudonville and Kathy Rutschilling of Coldwater; grandchildren, Yvonne (Michael) Wamsley, Nathan (Jessica) Forsthoefel, Andrew (Cashayla) Forsthoefel, Kyle (Kayleigh) Rutschilling, Dusty (Kaci) Rutschilling and Alyssa (Josh) Huber; great grandchildren Taylor and Hunter Wamsley, Liam and Connor Forsthoefel, Bentley, Cole and Myla Rutschilling and Landon and Connor Rutschilling; great-great grandson, Ethan Wamsley; a brother Robert Schlosser of Englewood and a sister-in-law Mary Lou Gaul of Michigan.
She is preceded in death by a son-in-law Calvin Scott; siblings and in-laws, Mary Ann (Paul) Otting, Laura Mae (Tom) Borgert, Geraldine (Jack) Sain, Catherine Bauer, Margaret Topa, Idella Suever, Velma Heidenescher, Dorothy Breining, Bea Nosek, Urban Wagner and Ladonna Colby.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and Coldwater V.F.W. Auxiliary. Joan enjoyed crocheting, bowling and spending time with her family.
A Public Mass of Christian Burial following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater with livestream at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
The family would like to receive friends but due to COVID-19 concerns viewing will be private at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
