* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Koesters
Ralph J. Koesters, age 83, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born July 1, 1937 in Wendelin, Ohio, to the late Edmund & Mary (Reichert) Koesters. On September 5, 1959 he married Evelyn (Clune) and she survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are children Ron (Doris) Koesters of Coldwater, Robert Koesters of Celina, Dave Koesters of Coldwater, Donna (Michael) Sudhoff of St. Anthony and Cheryl (Kevin) Thobe of Coldwater; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Mildred (Ivo) Heitkamp of St. Henry, Rita Gehle of St. Henry, Howard (Karen) Koesters of St. Henry, Jerome (Pat) Clune of St. Rose, Janice (Richard) Forthofer of Portland, Marlene (Richard) Carlile of Oakwood and Darlene Clune of Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Irene (Bernard) Meyer, Wilbert Gehle, Delbert (Charl) Clune, Gene Clune, and Kenneth Clune.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater where he was an usher and was a social member of the Coldwater American Legion. Ralph retired from Hemmelgarn's in Philothea and also worked for Kinninger Production Welding in New Bremen.
He enjoyed following the Cincinnati Reds and spending time with his family.
A Public Mass of Christian Burial following all CDC guidelines will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater with livestream at http://coldwatercluster.org/content/helpful-links-watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
The family would like to receive friends but due to COVID-19 concerns viewing will be private at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
