* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Fortkamp
Ralph V. Fortkamp, age 77, of Fort Recovery, died October 25, 2020 at his nephew's residence in Fort Recovery.
He was born June 13, 1943, in Fort Recovery, to the late Henry and Mary (Homan) Fortkamp.
Surviving are two daughters, Collen (Greg) Post of Fort Recovery and Carrie (Doug) Niekamp of Coldwater; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his siblings, Rosie May of Coldwater, Bernice Poling of Coldwater, Lavern (Elaine) Fortkamp of Dayton, and Alice Steinke of Florida; and sister-in-law, Jean Fortkamp of Coldwater.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Cyril (MaryAnn) Fortkamp, Rita (Jim) Zehringer, Vincent Fortkamp, and Henry (Arlene) Fortkamp; and brothers-in-law, Bud May, Dick Poling and Gene Steinke.
Ralph was a retired farmer and member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, OH. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3324 and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, both of Fort Recovery. Ralph enjoyed farming, playing cards and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday, October 30, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Ned Brown as celebrant. Per Ralph's request, there will be no visitation.
Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
