ROCKFORD - School board members on Monday denied a grievance submitted against the high school principal by a teacher and the district's teachers union in a 2-1 vote, with one board member abstaining.
CELINA - Mercer County residents who receive multiple absentee ballot applications need only fill out one to send to the board of elections, board director Deb Sneddon said on Tuesday morning.
CELINA - Local health officials on Tuesday said Mercer County is trending in the wrong direction as the number of new confirmed cases per capita continues to increase.
ROCKFORD - Village officials discussed the need for additional funds for future development and growth while reviewing the proposed 2021 budget.
They noted multiple projects are being planned, but moving forward is difficult without money set aside.
MINSTER - Village council members on Monday night authorized applications for two state grants totaling $734,000 to help finance two major construction projects.
Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart announced that fog seal work will begin soon on various rural roads in the county.
