This 2019 aerial photo of West Beach in Grand Lake St. Marys State Park shows the rock wall that was constructed to prevent an excess inflow of nutrient-rich sediment and algae-rich water from the lake. The white dots in the water are diffusers helping to improve water quality in the West Beach area.
