Mildred Broering
Mildred L. "Millie" Broering age 90 of 2204 St. Johns Rd. Maria Stein, Ohio died 12:50 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Gardens of St. Henry. She was born on June 26, 1929 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Aloysius C. & Caroline J. (Kunkler) Guggenbiller. She married Cyril "Cy" Broering on May 7, 1952 in Sharpsburg, Ohio and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2012.
She is survived by children Anthony & Linda Broering, Maria Stein, Michael & Kathy Broering, Maria Stein, Steve & Nancy Broering, Maria Stein, Ken & Karen Broering Maria Stein, & Elaine & David Wolters, Maria Stein, 26 grandchildren & 59 great grandchildren, brothers & sister: Rita Bertke, Centerville, Ralph & Connie Guggenbiller, Fort Recovery, Bob & Lillian Guggenbiller, Fort Recovery, brother-in-law Harold Broering, Maria Stein.
She was preceded in death by brothers & sister, Greg Guggenbiller, Victor Guggenbiller, Esther & Arnold Johnsman, in-laws, Ernie Bertke, Lawrence & Stella Broering , Richard & Eleanor Broering, Joseph & Anna Rita Broering, Rev. Victor Broering, Andrew & Kathryn Broering, Clarence & Irene Broering, Roman & Irma Broering, & Rosemary & Norbert Overman.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, Ladies Sodality of the Church, Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Maria Stein, Catholic Financial Life, Cassella Chapter #943, a mass server at the Shrine of the Holy Relics. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private family mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 Thursday, June 4, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Gene Schnipke celebrant. The mass will be live streamed at Marion Catholic Community on YouTube. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 4 with social distancing in place. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery.
