Kayla Dresher
Kayla Brittany Dresher, aka "Bubbles," age 29, Marion, passed away in her home on Friday, April 24, 2020, following a courageous, four-year battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Marion on Friday, March 1, 1991, to Christopher (Stacey) and Stacy (Cole) Dresher.
Kayla graduated from Oak Hill United School Corp., where she was actively involved in all the sports during high school. She received an associate's degree from Ivy Tech and also attended Ball State University. She worked as a clerk at J.C. Penney in Muncie. She was very artistic, loved dolphins, and enjoyed crocheting. She loved Halloween and was very good at doing make-up like zombies, haunted houses, and scary movies.
Survivors include her parents; sisters, Chelsey S. (Brandon) Johanning of Marion, Madison E. Dresher of Chickasaw, OH, and Allexis L. Dresher of Marion; brother, Logan C. Dresher of Noblesville; step-brother, Adam Bischoff of Fort Wayne; step-sister, Elizabeth (Wade) Finicle of Huntington; boyfriend of nine years, Tyler Kelly of Gas City; grandfather, Lewis (Louetta) Cole of Marion; grandmother, Patricia A. Dresher; and two nieces, Waverley Johanning and Emery Finicle.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Dresher.
The family will have a private visitation and service to celebrate Kayla's life with burial taking place at Grant Memorial Park.
