* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Beverly Petrie
Beverly Elaine (Kooken) Petrie, age 76, originally from Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, at her home in Farmington Hills, Michigan, after an extended illness.
She was born on January 6, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Miriam (Schafer) Kooken.
Beverly is survived by son, Timothy (Jill) Petrie, of Celina, Ohio; daughter Marcie (Bryan) Williamson of Farmington, Michigan; granddaughters Heather, Katie, Hailey, Colleen and Kelsey; great grandchildren Carter, Cormac, Byron, Kennedy, Wren, Peyton and Kora; brother, Gale (Linda) Kooken of Dayton, Ohio, and sister, Betsy Eberg of Tipp City, Ohio. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James R. Petrie, who passed away November 9, 2005, and her oldest brother Gary Kooken, Tipp City, Ohio.
Beverly was a 1962 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School in Trotwood, Ohio. She developed a love for music at an early age and used her gifts of piano and organ playing at First Grace Brethren Church, Vandalia, Ohio for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress, gifted quilter, lover of God's Word, wife, mom, sister, grandma, and a dear friend to many over the years.

Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 virus, we will be following the guidelines set by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's office. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 2, at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina, Ohio with Randy Thome officiating.
