* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Patricia Heitkamp
Patricia E. Heitkamp, age 67 of Carthagena, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 18, 1953 in Coldwater, to Eva (Borger) Weitzel & the late Joseph Weitzel. Her mother survives in St. Henry. On October 10, 1981 she married Leroy V. Heitkamp and he died December 20, 2018.
Pat is survived by children, Brian Heitkamp of Carthagena, Doug & Shelly Heitkamp of St. Sebastian, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Ava, Aleah, and Isaac Heitkamp. She is also survived by siblings, Mary & Jim Link of Bryant, IN, Ken Weitzel of Celina, Marilyn & Jerry Vogel, Ron Weitzel, and Jim & Linda Weitzel all of Ft. Recovery, Barb & Steve Schlarman of Cranberry Prairie and in-laws Marvin Heitkamp, and Elton Heitkamp both of St. Rose, Marlene & David Schulze of Wapakoneta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Alfred & Hilda (Lochtefeld) Heitkamp and a brother-in-law James Brunswick.
Pat was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Carthagena. She was a graduate of the Class of 1971 from Ft. Recovery High School. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A private family Mass will be held on Friday March 20, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena.
