* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Local United Methodist ministers hope church leaders can find a way to avoid a split in the denomination. A proposal to divide the UMC based on local churches' opinions toward LGBTQ issues will be considered at a May conference.
