COLDWATER - Several cows stampeded outside the McDonald's restaurant and walked around other parts of the village Wednesday morning.
Coldwater Police Chief Jason Miller told the newspaper his department received a call reporting loose cows at about 4:30 a.m. The animals, which belong to Florence Livestock, 2961 State Route 219, Coldwater, reportedly escaped from a trailer when the gate somehow gave out while the truck hauling it was driving through town.
