* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Gerald Roeckner
Gerald J. "Jerry" Roeckner, age 84, of Chickasaw, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born July 10, 1935 in Celina to the late Werner H. & Mary G. (Wendel) Roeckner. On August 10, 1957, he married Mary (Klosterman), and she survives in Chickasaw.
He is also survived by children, Rick "Rocky" & Sue Roeckner of Chickasaw, Tammy & Jack Langenkamp of North Star, Rolly & Sharon Roeckner of Maria Stein and Randy & Terry Roeckner of Chickasaw. He had 11 grandchildren with 1 deceased; 23 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way; and in-laws, Wally & Irene Klosterman of Montezuma.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Roeckner; and in-laws, Othmar Klosterman and Sylvan Klosterman.
Jerry was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw and the Men's Society of the church. He was a social member of the Chickasaw V.F.W., a past member of the Mercer County Fair Board, a Marion Local Flyer Fan and enjoyed collecting anything to do with John Deere equipment. He was retired from Midmark after working there for 52 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
Friends may call on Friday, October 4th, from 3 to 7 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
