Robert Holbrook
Robert E. "Sal" Holbrook, 61, of Belle Center, OH passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health Systems, Lima, OH.
Robert was born on March 25, 1958 in Lima, OH, a son of the late Gordon Holbrook and Marlene Thompson Holbrook, who survives in Ada, OH.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jack.
He married Sherry Martin on March 3, 2006 in Kentucky and she survives. He is also survived by two children, Scott Holbrook of Lucasville, OH and Amanda (Jeremy) Carter of McCutchenville, OH, five grandchildren, Kelli, Savannah, Christopher, Grace, and Dylan, three brothers, Timothy (April) Holbrook of Waynesfield, OH, David (Amy) Holbrook of Roundhead, OH, and Danny (July) Holbrook of Belle Center, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Bob was a 1976 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School. He worked at Kern's Chevrolet in Celina. He was a member of Lima Moose Lodge #199. Bob enjoyed shooting sporting clays, golfing, and cooking, with a passion for feeding others. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Pastor Steven Holbrook will begin funeral services at 10:30 am, Friday, August 2, 2019 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview.
Visitation is Thursday, August 1st from 2-8 pm. In Bob's honor, it is encouraged that friends and family wear Cleveland Browns attire. Burial is in Roundhead Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to his family c/o Shoffstall Funeral Home.
