CELINA - Minster native Kaycie Wissman was crowned 2019 Miss Lake Festival during Monday night's scholarship competition, which kicked off the Celina Lake Festival.
Wissman, 18, shared the stage with eight other contestants. No teen competition was held this year, but as a surprise, 2018's Miss Lake Festival Outstanding Teen, Maleah Lee, was named the 2019 Miss Lake Festival Outstanding Teen after presenting her farewell video. [More]

Coldwater council hears complaints
COLDWATER - Three residents addressed issues with a neighboring property at Monday's village council meeting.
  Avery Scott, Cory Adams and Donna Billerman, all residents of Eden Avenue in Coldwater, said they are concerned with a property on their street.
CELINA - Law enforcement officials on Monday arrested a St. Marys man for felony possession of drugs after more than 50 grams of methamphetamine were located in the car he was driving, according to the Celina Police Department.
